At Chanak, we want you to shop with confidence. If you experience any issues with your order, we’re here to help. Please read the policy below before requesting a return, replacement, or refund.
Return & Replacement Policy
1. Reporting an Issue
- Any request for a return or replacement must be reported within 48 hours of receiving your order.
2. Unboxing Video Required
- Please record a complete unboxing video while opening your parcel.
- The unboxing video is mandatory for claims related to damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing products.
- Claims submitted without an unboxing video may not be accepted.
3. Eligibility for Returns & Replacements
A return or replacement will be accepted only if:
- The product is unused and has not been damaged after delivery.
- The product is the same item that was delivered and has not been altered or tampered with.
- The product is returned in its original packaging with all included items, such as:
o Manufacturer’s box
o MRP tag
o User manual
o Warranty card (if applicable)
o Accessories and free gifts
- The return package has been handed over to the courier or delivery partner.
- Customers are encouraged to share the courier receipt or proof of handover to help speed up the replacement process.
Replacement orders will be dispatched only after the return has been initiated and confirmed.
4. Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Missing Products
If you receive a product that is:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Incorrect
- Missing any parts or accessories
Please contact our Customer Support team within 48 hours of delivery with the required proof. Our team will review your request and provide an appropriate resolution.
5. Product Not as Described
If the product you receive is significantly different from its description on our website, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Once verified, we will provide an appropriate resolution.
6. Non-Eligible Returns
Returns are generally not accepted for reasons such as:
- Ordering the wrong product
- Selecting the wrong size, model, or colour
- Change of mind after purchase
If such a return is approved as an exception, the forward shipping and return courier charges will be deducted from the refund amount.
7. Misuse of the Return Policy
Chanak reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently deactivate accounts that repeatedly cancel orders, refuse deliveries, or misuse the return and replacement policy.
Refund Policy
1. Order Cancellation
Before Shipment
If you cancel a prepaid order before it is shipped:
- A 3% payment gateway fee will be deducted.
- The remaining amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 7 working days.
After Shipment
If your order has already been shipped:
- A 3% payment gateway fee and the forward and return shipping charges will be deducted.
- The refund will be processed within 7 working days after your cancellation request is approved.
2. Refunds for Returned Products
Eligible Returns
Refunds are available for products that are:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Incorrect
- Non-functional
- Missing parts or accessories
Refunds will be initiated only after the returned product is received, inspected, and approved by our quality team.
You will be notified by email once your return has been approved or rejected.
Approved Refunds
Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 7–10 working days.
Customer-Initiated Returns
For returns made due to personal preference or reasons other than product issues, the forward and return shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount.
3. Delayed or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund after the expected processing time:
1. Check your bank account.
2. Contact your credit/debit card provider, as processing times may vary.
3. Contact your bank for any posting delays.
