Refund policy
At Chanak, we strive to provide a seamless shopping experience. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, this policy outlines the terms for returns, refunds, and cancellations.
Return Request Period
Return requests must be raised within 2 days of delivery of the product. Requests received after this period may not be accepted.
Eligible Cases for Return / Refund
- Damaged or Defective Product: Please share an unboxing video clearly showing the issue.
- Missing Items: Share an unboxing video showing the received items.
- Incorrect Product Delivered: If you receive a wrong item, we will arrange a replacement or refund.
Conditions for Return
- Product must be unused, undamaged, and in original condition
- Original packaging, tags, and accessories must be intact
- Valid proof of purchase must be provided
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer unless the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect product).
Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund. Once shipped, cancellation requests may not be accepted.
Delayed Delivery and Cancellation
If your order is significantly delayed beyond the estimated delivery timeline due to reasons attributable to us or our logistics partners, you may request cancellation and a full refund.
Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances (such as natural disasters, strikes, or external disruptions) will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Rejection / Refusal of Delivery
If a customer refuses to accept a prepaid or COD order at the time of delivery, the following deductions may apply:
- Actual forward and reverse shipping charges incurred
- Handling or packaging charges (up to 10% of product value)
These deductions will be applied before processing any eligible refund.
Undeliverable Shipments
If a shipment cannot be delivered due to incorrect address, unavailability, or repeated failed attempts, additional shipping charges may apply for re-dispatch.
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7 working days.
Non-Returnable Cases
- Products damaged due to misuse or negligence
- Requests raised after the return window
- Products returned without original packaging
